Windows 10: Everytime I restart my Dell XPS 15, certain keyboard commands change

I got my Dell XPS 15 about 8 months ago, so far it is working fine except for a certain issue. Everytime I restart/ shut down my laptop the commands for the brightness, volume,screenshots and such change. Sometimes I have to hold down the FN key to activate the commands, whereas other times I don't. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? It's inconvenient and annoying so I would really appreciate anyone that has figured out how to fix this! Thank you!

Dell XPS 15 audio problems with driver_power_state_failure BSODs

I had a similar issue. Everytime I SHUT DOWN my DELL XPS 15 9550 and switched it on again (NO RESTART) there was no sound. Only a REBOOT/RESTART could solve the issue.

However, I removed the AUDIO DRIVER completley and downloaded it again from the DELL website to install it again seemed to have solved this issue.

I suggest you follow the below method.



Method 1: I suggest you to run the hardware and device troubleshooter
to check and fix issues with hardware and devices.
Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
  

Method 2: Update the touchscreen drivers manually from the Device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

1.Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select
Device manager from the context menu.

2.Expand Human Interface Device option, right click on the touchscreen driver and select Update this software from the context menu.

3.Follow the on-screen instructions.

Dell XPS 15 (L502x) keyboard not working after November windows 10 update

Today I received the November Windows 10 update, after this was installed on my Dell laptop XPS 15 (L502x) I am unable to use the laptop keyboard or the touchpad.

I can see that the Device Manager shows HID Keyboard and Lenvo thinkpad devices were changed this morning at the time of the upgrade I have a dell laptop xps15 and a separate Logitech MK320 keyboard, so I am uncertain that the correct devices have been installed.

Has anyone had a similar issue and could they suggest a resolution to the issue.
