    Everytime I search for an app in microsoft store, I get the message "The thing you're...


    I don't even type a name and search, just typing the first word is enough for the app to be suggested in the search bar with its image and when I click it I get the same message. I even tried getting redirected from the apps' websites to the store and got the same message. I tried logging out and back, and running the troubleshooter to no avail. My other laptop has the same problem with a different microsoft account, so is this an ip address problem? I can't download any app from this store. I followed instructions from a reddit support thread, telling me to reset the cache, use a vpn, boot in

    Hi James,

    Since running the troubleshooter for Windows app didn't work, we suggest resetting Windows Store by following the steps below to resolve your issue:

    • Type Apps & features on search box/Cortana and click on it.
    • Look for Microsoft Store app and click on Advance options.
    • Click Reset button and retest.
