Everytime I try to sync my IMAP email account I receive this error message:"We're having a problem downloading messages. Try again later. Error code 8007274d "

Error code 0x8007274d - cannot sync IMAP account

Hello,

Everytime I try to sync my IMAP email account I receive this error message:

"We're having a problem downloading messages. Try again later. Error code 8007274d "

This is a critical issue, as I cannot use my work email address.

I also use Outlook app for iOS and Outlook 2013 for PC and I have no such issues.

Windows 10

Mail app v. 17.6106.42001.0

Time & Date: OK

Windows Firewall: disabled

No other antivirus/firewall software is installed

Account type: IMAP

SSL: yes, self-signed

 

IMAP folder sync issue

I've been suffering with what I now believe are IMAP folder sync issues for years
When I have to re-add my email accounts (rebuild, migration etc.) it manifests by missing folders/emails
I've established that if I move a folder then it's not likely to sync
It appears correct in Outlook365 but can't be seen in webmail or IMAP folders
Executing 'Update folder list' or send/receive doesn't help at all
If I create the folder in Outlook and copy the emails then it appears to sync correctly
Is it me or has Outlook always been garbagee with IMAP folders?
I can copy from a PST file but's it's laborious and I don't know straightway what's missing
Until, if ever, this is fixed it's a PITA to keep checking IMAP folders is updated correctly
Any comments would be welcome!

 

IMAP Email account on Lumia 925 - Not Syncing

Hi,

I am trying to connect to my school Email IMAP account on my Windows Phone.

I used the instructions for "email account settings manually (advanced)" from the following link to setup my account.

The Email client repeatedly asks for password but never syncs. I have been unable to sync this account yet.

I tried syncing both on Wifi and cellular data with no success.

I have my Outlook desktop client configured to use the same IMAP account with the same IMAP and SMTP server,port details and it works.

I searched the community and the web for any solutions but could resolve this issue. Any help or suggestions are welcome.
