Windows 10: Everytime windows or my graphics card amd does an update windows boots back up and won't...

Almost everytime I do windows 11 or AMD graphics driver updates that require a restart windows boots and lets me log in but the desktop is unresponsive I've tried every trick in the book to get it to respond and the only fix I've found is to restart the computer in safe mode and do a system restore.What could be causing this and how do I stop it it's been doing this to me for almost a year even with 2 fresh installs of windows 11.

I suggest you to install the latest graphics drivers from AMD Drivers and Support
and see if it works. This updated driver serves both the integrated and discrete graphics.

If the drivers fail to install, the possible causes could be:

• Missing critical or recommended Windows Updates.
  
• Graphics driver and software conflicts.
  
• False positives blocked by anti-virus software.
  

Make sure, all the Windows Updates are installed and follow the troubleshooting steps listed in
Troubleshooting Common AMD Graphics Driver Installation Problems and check if it works.

Won't Boot Windows with 2 Cards!

Hi guys,

I just added a second 7850 to my system. Model is Powercolor 7850 2GB. First card is an XFX DD 7850 2GB.

I can't get it to boot with two cards into windows. Just reformatted, only thing on here is the latest catalyst drivers 13.6 beta. Tried this with and without the crossfire bridge. Either card works fine alone.

With 2 cards installed on the Z77X UD3H mobo, the system hangs at windows symbol. With 1 card it boots to windows fine. I updated the mobo bios to the latest from Gigabyte. What am I missing?

windows 10 is not detecting my APU AMD A10-9700 graphic card

Hello,

I've an asrock mother board (ab350 itx/Ac) and an AMD APU (a10-9700E)

and no way to detect my graphic card as a Radeon R7, it's still named "basic windows card" in the device list.

I tried several versions of the AMD drivers for APU A series with no success

everytime I re-install everything I use a soft to clean everything.

Is there something I miss in the BIOS or anywhere ?
