Discus and support EVGA's Precision XOC Now Supports All Nvidia Cards in Windows 10 Graphic Cards to solve the problem; According to this thread over at EVGA, the latest version 6.0.5 now works with all Nvidia cards.     Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703

    This update will not install correctly. I think it is the Precision-X that is causing my problem. After install all I get is black screen with, mouse pointer that is moveable and a small box in the lower left corner of the screen that has the precision-X
    close option in it.

    I have tried all the Microsoft troubleshooting and repair tools prior to install and get no help or any other result. I have uninstalled Precision-X and still will not install correctly. My system is a home build;

    XFX X58i mother board

    intel i7 920 LGA1366

    12G OCZ PC10666 DDR-3 ram

    6 W/D SATA hard drives

    Video EVGA GTX970

    and EVGA GTX760

    Nvidia video drivers

    EVGA Precision-X XOC

    Windows 10 pro

    MS Office 2013 Pro

    frequent windows event 4101(Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.)

    i found a solution to my problem...but it might not be a universal solution..just one unique to my situation. i tried underclocking my gpu..in this case i tried lowering it by 222MHz and the problem stopped. not for too long though since i was receiving
    a new card that day. the tool i used to lower the clock speed was 'evga precision xoc' since it was an evga card.
