    Excel inserts a bizarre graph when I try to insert a column and bar chart into my worksheet.


    When I try to create a column chart, Excel creates something that does not look at all the way it is supposed to. Not only that, it also displays the raw data. I tried to insert an image into this thing, but I cannot see it. Your site tells me the image was inserted successfully however. I sure hope you can see it, as that will explain everything.     Chart two columns of data in Excel

    I'll assume you're using a more recent version of Excel. To make a line graph of your data in the way you described, copy the data columns for MPH and RPM side-by-side in that order. Then select both columns. Click 'Insert' > 'line graph'. To add a trend line and formula for your data, right click on the newly made graph and click 'add trendline' in the dropdown menu. A panel should pop up on the right hand side of your screen with options for the different types of fittings (linear, exponential, logarithmic, etc.).

    How to upgrade Microsoft Powerpoint app to Insert CHARTS

    Hello,

    I realized that my Microsoft office 365 subscription powerpoint app does not have CHARTS feature in the insert tool bar.

    This is quite surprising and i could not use the needed pie and bar charts for my official presentation.

    Any suggestions on how to upgrade , or fix this?

    Windows version 1809 - excel displays new comment instead of insert comment

    Did all of the steps you suggested and the drop down list still does not show "insert comment" HOWEVER when I select "new note" from the dropdown list, it works the same as "insert comment". I think the engineers changed the title. Also at the top
    of the excel screen is a field "tell me what you want to do"; if you type in insert comment, the insert comment window comes up and looks exactly like the window when you select "new note". As you suggested, I will send feedback to the engineers. Thank
