First, why can't you just leave things alone? Why do you have to force everything we don't want down our throats, which then completely screws up what did work prior to this mess?Excel is NOT copying formulas the way it should; it is prepopulating ALL blank spaces with **** that does NOT reverse and now I have to go back to over 5000 lines and fix everything your stupid program screwed up; it is slow and crashing; I cannot get that damn CoPilot **** off; I am sick of Microsoft wasting my time! I have a job to do and I cannot do it with all this stupidity! I've lost 3 days trying to clean up

    :)

None of the methods to disable Copilot work, can't even hide it

I suggest you post your question in the tutorial thread to find out if Brink or the other tutorial participants can help you Enable or Disable Copilot - TenForumsTutorials Best of luck, Denis

  3. Copilot randomly got removed from taskbar options.

    Hello,

I can understand how frustrating it is when an essential feature like copilot disappears unexpectedly.

Here are few steps to fix this issue.

    1. Open Settings.

      Click on Personalization.

In Taskbar, check if the Copilot toggle is off. If so, turn it on.
    2. If Group Policy Editor isn’t working, try these steps:
      • Press Win + R, and enter gpedit.msc.
      • Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar.
      • Look for any policies related to Copilot and ensure they’re not disabled.
If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thank you.

    Have a great day!

How to disable copilot in Windows 11 23H2?

There is a solution to keep Copilot out of your eyesight, it does not permanently remove or uninstall Copilot from your Windows 11 environment. Microsoft is persistent and Copilot is inevitable, not to mention the latest computers are equipped with a dedicated Copilot Key in the keyboard. Hence, it is up to us to get used to this feature, and also the field of AI is exponentially increasing, so it is better to get used to it. However, the simple solution is to disable copilot via Taskbar as you mentioned that Policy Editor didn't help. The following are the steps.

    • Go to Windows Settings.
    • Click on Personalization.
    • Under Taskbar, you can find Copilot (preview)
    • Toggle the switch to Off.
    • In this way, Copilot can be kept out of sight.

I hope the same works for you.
