    Excel Spreadsheet with Password Protect will NOT open in Windows 11


    I am still using Office 2007 perfect for what I need and recently had some work done on my laptop which came back with Windows 11 NOT a fan. I have restored several excel spreadsheets with no issues. However, I have a spreadsheet that is password protected and it WILL NOT open or give the option to enter the password. Is this a Windows 11 issue? Please share thoughts and Thank you, Audrey

    How to open an Excel spreadsheet protected by bitlocker on a different PC.

    I created an Excel spreadsheet on a W10 Pro SSD drive that is protected by bitlocker. I then copied it onto a USB drive (not protected by bitlocker) and when I try to open it on a different W10 Pro PC, I get Error 0x80071771: The specified file could not
    be decrypted. I know the password but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to put it in. Is there some way to access the Excel file on the 2nd PC?
