Windows 10: Excel - Unable to open Excel files with Japanese charaters

Hello!We are experiencing a strange issue with Microsoft Excel on our PCs. As part of our workflow, we frequently save files with Japanese characters in their names, as we work with Japan.Starting two weeks ago, we began encountering the following error message when trying to open specific files:"Microsoft ExcelUnable to access the file. Try one of the following actions:Ensure that the specified folder exists.Ensure that the folder containing the file is not read-only.Ensure that the file name does not contain the following characters: < > ? [ ] : or *.Ensure that the file name or path

Unable to open Excel or Word

I am unable to open a specific Excel File or Excel or Word at all. It shows and error message (-2147163890). Any suggestions

 

Excel files opening in chrome

EXCEL files saved in SHARED SERVER open in Chrome by default. When I try to select what they should open in, EXCEL is not listed as an option.

HOWEVER, EXCEL files saved in PC Open to EXCEL Correctly and listed as EXCEL files as well.

Why are the Shared server EXCEL files opening only in chrome?

I have checked all the default program and Excel is listed in the system but not as an option when I try to open EXCEL files from Shared server.

Please help. This is a new computer, just finished setting up, Office 365 has been a nightmare all day.

 

Unable to open a password protected Excel file

thanks for your feedback but you dont know anything about the excel formats that they can be used in the mobile phones or not .....

but the fact is that we can read (only ) any excel file .

now my question is that i am having a EXCEL FILE which is password protected and i know the password also but i am unable to use open it in my excel file ... please suggest me some tricks so that i can open it in my laptop ..
