I keep having same crash error during my gameplay (Chivalry 2) i tried countless methods but nothing worked out. i have crash dump files if someone could tell me what is wrong i would appreciate as the developers of the game do not respond to my tickets. thanks.

I have had the exact same problem for a number of months now. And it is driving me nuts! I went to my local IT support; unfortunately they were unable to solve this for me.

The solution provided above did not help, either. When visiting the Java support site, the following can be read:

SYMPTOMS

On Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems, while attempting to install Java or running Java applets or applications, error message is displayed
Error : Exception_Access_Violation

CAUSE

We are still investigating root cause of this issue.

SOLUTION

This issue could be seen due to User Account Control (UAC) feature enabled on Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system.

UAC is enabled by default in Windows Vista and Windows 7, as a result, you might encounter some compatibility problems with different applications that have not yet been updated for the Windows UAC component

Temporarily disabling UAC may resolve the exception access issue, however, turning off UAC reduces the security of your system. We do not recommend leaving UAC disabled.

As can be read: the root cause is unknown. I applied these suggestions and none of them solved my problem. Also, over the course of several months I watched tonnes of video's online and read numerous blogs and forums on how to solve this error/crash report
- same outcome. Moreover, I tried installing different (earlier) Java versions. Even though that made a small difference (max 30 seconds in-game before the world/game crashes), the game remains completely unplayable. What is more, the crashing seems to intensify
in terms of frequency. Please investigate this and find a solution to it. Either way, it is my suspicion that the crash report must be software-driven, as before Windows 10 and the latest Java versions (and in early stages of Windows 10) this issue never occurred
- and I have not added any hardware. In addition, I want to point out that all drivers are (correctly) up-to-date.

What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
