    Excessive Windows 'Services' being introduced

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but have a look at 'services.msc' and see the hoard of additional services that are being added each time there is a new update it seems. My gosh. Does anyone think there is a bit of redundancy with some of these?

I have some services like: 'Token Broker' that have a description of: "<Failed to Read Description. Error Code: 15100>" This might (in itself) be due to myself manually stopping some of the RT/Win Store services...which I do not use whatsoever.

I am running Win 10 Pro IP 15031.rs2_release.170204-1546 (64 bit).

Does anyone know if some of these might be there for testing purposes until something more 'official' comes out?

    Any thoughts?

    No live tv on N96

Assuming you're in the UK (you don't say), there's no DVB-H service in the country so live TV will never work.

There's talk of it being introduced after the analogue shut-down, in 2012 or thereabouts. Not before.

  3. Windows 10 Home

to date I have spent in excess of £500.00 of supposedly pristine Microsoft Windows 10.

3 CDs and 1 USB Stick. All cannot be faulty. I have used Windows since first being introduced to then in the early 1980's. I was taught by ICL to build computers and have done so ever since. This is my 12th machine and is the first to give me real hassle.

This machine has a new motherboard, Sound/Graphics Card, 32 Gigabytes of RAM, a 2 terabyte and a one terabyte hard drive and two DVD rewriters.

All sitting idly because Windows10 will not install.

Please offer some glint of light in the darkness. Michael.
