    Hi,My client has a fully working W2012/Exchange 2010 hybrid environment with the latest CU applied and all mailboxes already on the cloud. Long short story, I am getting this error when running PrepareAD with TenantOrganizationConfig switch as part to Hybrid upgrade to Exchange 2016:The following error was generated when "$error.Clear; if $RoleIsDatacenter -eq $false { install-Container -Name "Hybrid Configuration" -DomainController $RoleDomainController }" was run: "Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.ADObjectAlreadyExistsException: Active Directory operation failed on XXXX.     Outlook 2016 not talking to Exchange 2010


    Thanks for that guys,

    How do you set it up on the Exchange side? I have access to the Exchange server but not sure how to configure it to connect in this way. I'm currently connected on another machine (win 7) running Outlook 2010 and picking up emails just fine. Is there something that needs to changed in Exchange specifically for Outlook 2016?

    How to install exchange 2016 into exchange 2010 org

    i installed 2016 into 2010 exchange org. but im looking for full step by step guide. i need to move roles? publuic folders, certs, etc. i keep seeing instructions on install and i did that and i have it in 2010 org but i know theres a ton of other steps
    to complete it. after i comeplete install i need to get rid of 2010 exchange.
