Windows 10: Exchange Admin Center - Error 500

We are trying to create a new mail account on our EAC for our new employee, but unfortunately when we are done logging in it didnt direct us in the actual EAC GUI instead Error 500 shows.I hope someone can help us in our EAC issue.

Mail for Exchange : HTTP Server Error 500

I have resolved this same issue on our Nokia handsets using MfE by performing two actions.



There is a configuration change required to the Exchange server for ActiveSync, (as listed on other posts).



The second (and I suggest you try this first, as it may bypass the need to adjust the server completely) was related to our brand of certificate. The Nokia handsets only come pregonfigured with a very small list of Certificate Authorities
(CA's). My solution was to manually import the root CA certificate for our particular CA, which is Comodo.



Basically, you export the CA certificate in DER format from your PC, copy it to your Nokia via USB connection, then on the Nokia, open the certificate and install it. Rather than write all the steps here, I have a small blog entry that outlines the steps

Mail for Exchange and the dreaded 500 error!

I've recently got myself a Nokia 5800 and have been trying to get Mail for Exchange working for the past week and a half.



I've read and actioned almost every suggestion that I can find on the web but still no joy!



The jist of the problem is as follows:-



1. I created my profile which uses a secure connection and attempted to sync but no joy

2. I downloaded the SSL certificate from our OWA server (provided by Equifax to my phone), tried again, still no joy.

3. Next I downloaded a PDA emulator and configured activesync on it, after downloading and installing the certificate Activsync worked fine.

4. I can access Outlook Web access and OMA fine.

5. One of my colleagues has a Sony Ericson K700 phone and he has managed to get activesync working fine.



Becuase of the above I'm thinking that there are certain issues with the Nokia 5800 and Mail for exchange in an SSL environment.



I've had a scan through the logs on our OWA mail server but there are none that even indicate that my phone is getting to the server.



I work in an IT team so consider myselft as reasonably technically astute.

I'm not sure whether this is relevant or not but when I got activesync working on the PDA emulator I noticed this error in the application log of the exchange server.



Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server: [mailboxserver.domain.co.uk] User: [*** Email address is removed for privacy ***] HTTP status code: [409]. Verify that the Exchange mailbox Server is working correctly.
