Windows 10: .exe files and some apps wont open

suddenly from yesterday some of my apps wont open .Spotify app is not opening, zoom and skype tooI tried uninstalling some recent apps that I had installed but uninstall was not working even control panel wasn't opening i opened safe mode and control panel and remove a program opened but still the uninstall.exe wouldnt open .I even Re-Installed windows by the option start fresh and I chose erase files completely and started the windows fresh I still cant open same files I re installed Skype and other apps , still nothing I tried Registry Editor fixation too when I open skype " A JavaScript e

opening .dds files with gimp

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

 

Exe file slow to open

A SFX archive isn't going to open right away. The files have to be extracted first. When you are opening it in WinRar, it's not extracting the file, it's just reading it which is why it opens right away.

 

Exe files wont open

We suggest that you try to reinstall Antivirus and see if it helps.

You can also run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption. SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them. Please see the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click Command Prompts (Admin)
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command and press Enter:
