Windows 10: executable files getting blocked when downloaded from internet

Discus and support executable files getting blocked when downloaded from internet in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Hello Team, We have an installer which includes .exe, few .MSI files and few .ps1 files. we zip the whole contents and upload it in our company portal....     Hello Team, We have an installer which includes .exe, few .MSI files and few .ps1 files. we zip the whole contents and upload it in our company portal. customers download from there and install. we are facing the issue of .exe, .MSI and .ps1 files getting blocked when downloaded from the portal. because of this the installation is not proper. Can someone tell what is the reason which causes the issue. there are many posts which suggests how to unblock the files using some registry setting and execution of commands. but if we know what really causes this and how this can be avoided, it w

    Block Web Browsers Executing downloaded files

    Hi James,

    all of the users are non administrators we want to block execution of everything thing so if a user downloads a docx file we want to force Them to open the file from explorer.

    Internet files download Failed-Blocked

    When trying to download a file on a local regular account it shows up as "failed-blocked"

    The download works on the local admin account, but I need it to work on the regular account.

    The internet properties > security settings - Internet Zone "Launching applications and unsafe files" is already set to Prompt.

    The “ScanWithAntiVirus” Registry Key under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Attachments

    Was set to 3 and changed to 1.

    What should be my next steps?

    File execution blocked

    I had been using a Swiftforth compiler when after the latest update of Windows 10 that happened today. File execution blocked message appears.

    It is getting extremely frustrating trying to get things done when Windows 10 decides to block execution of the primary reason I use a computer in the first place. I cannot understand why I have to continuously fight the operating system to do what I want
    to do. What do I need to do to stop this insanity?
