Windows 10: Executables without real description.

Why do executables in the NTFS Details explorer tab have no description of what they are doing? Honestly, I block everything with a firewall, since I do not know what such a program will do when I let it connect to the Internet. And I do not have the time or the will to dig around the net to look for information which is what each one of them is. Especially that these descriptions on the web are usually worthless, like as a machine-generated.I mean mainly system processes. I was just looking for BridgeCommunication.exe and found here only that it is HP's process. But what it does - nothing c

Exactly what he said. It helps your audience when searching for your pages, because when you search a specific page, and if you have a page description, Google will list out the description for the page. It could be a little confusing if you have the same description for every page.

Edit Services "Description" field


As title suggests, I'm wondering how to edit the description of services that appear in "services.msc"... I have several programs that run as services that I know and use, but have no descriptions at all.

Would be nice to be able to see these and immediately recognize them when viewing list of running services.

ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY Blue Screen of Death error appears when a device driver attempts to execute a program from a non-executable area of the memory. An error in the RAM (Random Access Memory) can also cause this BSOD error.

If you are using a built-in webcam, then, update the webcam driver and check if that helps.

• Press 'Windows key + X' and choose 'Device Manager'.
• Under 'Imaging devices', right-click on the webcam driver and update the driver.
