Windows 10: Existing PXE ROM

I changes the original old SSD by new once and then installed window then again I changes new SSD to the original old once then I got an error 'Existing PXE ROM ' so with the help of boot able pendrive I checked windows it already shows the old files and installed window the old SSD is detected. But there is error while booting.

Hi,

Error Msg. PXE-M0F: Existing PXE ROM. Operating System not found.

To get laptop to reboot into Windows 10 I do the F12 and run the Diagnostic.

I have to run the Diagnostic after a shut down to get the laptop to boot up.

The laptop is a Dell over six years old with the original CMOS Battery.

PXE-E61 MEDIA TEST FAILED, CHECK CABLE PXE-MOF EXITING PXE ROM

Hi,

I am getting the following error on my
Dell Studio 1747

PXE-E61 MEDIA TEST FAILED, CHECK CABLE

PXE-MOF EXITING PXE ROM

The hard drive is seen when I hit F2 and look at the specs

I have taken the hard drive out and reinstalled. It did not help but the computer still recognizes the hard drive.

Any suggestions?

Hi Sandcloud, that PXE-M0F error indicates your system is trying to boot from a network drive . . .

When your system starts, repeatedly press F2 to Enter BIOS

Change the boot order list so that your Hard Drive is top of the Boot list

Press F10 to save these settings change

Restart your system and see if the change sticks

If it does not, you might need to replace the CMOS battery
