Windows 10: Exiting safe mode boot on a windows 10 laptop with a broken screen and windows key doesn't work

So I use an external monitor for my laptop as the monitor is broken. However, I was having issues with my graphics driver, so I went to boot it into safe mode to fix it, not realizing that safe mode doesn't allow external monitors. Now I am stuck in boot mode, unable to exit as I had set it as the default boot. I've tried the solution here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-update/stuck-in-safe-mode-broken-screen/67067dc3-8039-4191-b451-52e731c0991f, but my windows key doesn't work and so i am unable to open the command prompt. Is there any possible way to fix this?

I suggest you to try the below steps to exit from the Safe mode on Windows 10.

Steps to place the computer in normal mode.

• Press Windows + R keys to open
  Run command.
• Type msconfig and press
  Enter.
• In the System Configuration window, click on
  General tab.
• Select Start-up selection as
  Normal startup, click on Apply
  and Ok.
• Follow onscreen instructions.

Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

• Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
  keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
  Enter.
• Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
• Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.
