Windows 10: Expand multiple subfolders in the same window

    Expand multiple subfolders in the same window


    I'm trying to figure out how to open multiple folders and their contents in the same window of file explorer. All the information I can find is related to the navigation pane. I want to avoid using that because it's clunky and doesn't actually do what I want it to do, or if possible expand the navigation pane till it's the full window and shows files because its the same difference.

    This is crazy. I need to expand a folder on the left side of the screen to display subfolders. On the larger right side I have a list of files. I need to move some files from their present folder or subfolder to another subfolder on the left. For example,
    I scanned in several tax documents and stored under Documents. Later I created a subfolder called 2015 taxes. I should be able to move those documents displayed under Documents to the 2015 taxes subfolder. This is not brain surgery. It is a simple way of managing
    files. It's ridiculous to say "we will be glad to help" while you also say our needs are irrelevant (as in "sorry .. but subfolders will not be visible..."). I just wasted hours trying to create folders in a rational way.

    Accessing IMAP Subfolders

    The folders exist since the account was created almost 15 years ago.

    Subfolders don't show up at all. Where are they supposed to be? In a flat list? Is there a way to expand the Inbox folder and show subfolders?

    Expand Quick Access menu (view subfolders) in Windows Explorer

    I can't get the new Quick Access folder in Windows 10 to expand on the left-hand bar in Windows Explorer (in order to see the sub-folders within Quick Access, I need to click into the folder and select a folder from the right side). On all the previews for
    Windows 10 it shows the subfolders neatly laid out below the main folder, as it used to be in the Favorites menu in previous Windows versions (http://az648995.vo.msecnd.net/win/2015/06/context-menu.png), but I can't get the subfolders in Quick Access to display
    in the left-hand bar.

    Is anyone else having this problem? There are only 7 subfolders as pictured in MS's own link above, so they should be able to display, and when I right click 'Quick Access' and hit 'Expand', nothing happens. Very annoying. Any help would be great.
