Windows 10: Expanding to full screen . . .

My computer is a, Dell laptop. Running, Windows 10My Windows 10 computer screen resolution, is set properly. But sometimes I watch a movie, that only fills part of the screen. How can I expand it, to fill the whole screen?I put this sentence, on YouTube. But it keeps, talking about screen resolution. That's, OK. I just wanted to know, if I'm watching a movie. That only fills, the middle of the screen. Is there a way, to expand it. To fill, the whole screen?Thanks for reading . . . Jerry

win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software

BUT i still have the line on screen.

1. Right click on the desktop and select Display settings.
   

1. Click on Advanced display settings.
   
2. Set the Resolution to what ever you will like, (i.e 1600 x 900) or set as Recommended.
   
3. Click Apply.

1. Choose a screen to fix if you have multiple monitors attached. Skip this step if you have only one.
   
2. Select Landscape from the orientation menu.
