    Expansion Drive on Windows 10


    Something has changed in my last Windows update! As of today [01-01-2020], my Windows 10 does not allow me to deselect quick removal for my Seagate expansion drive. Quick Removal does not even appear in the policies tab for the drive. My backups have gone from 6 minutes to 6 hours!

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Expansion Drive on Windows 10

    Seagate Expansion + Drive not working

    When I use to connect my Seagate Expansion + drive, my windows 8 computer does not read the contents and it also affects the other USB Drives. but it shows on the Device Manager (SCSI controller and Disk Drives section), however the capacity storage is not
    listing up on the Disk Management Tool.

    Any help?
