Windows 10: Experience hang in the first 5-10 mins after booting

Hi,


I am experiencing a hang in my laptop for the first 5-10 mins after i switch it on. I have recently bought this HP laptop with 8Gb RAM and 2Gb nvidea graphic card. It is a 64 bit opersting system and has intel i5 8th gen. I am shocked that with such specifications also i am experiencing a hang. Kindly provide a solution to this as it is very irritating, especially when there are urgent mails to be sent.

Ok, let the powershell command run overnight
If the command didn't solve the problem, the try these steps in order:

1. Disable superfetch service
   • Empty the following folder c:\Windows\Prefetch\
   • Restart the computer
   • Si ça ne marche pas, passer à l'étape 2;
2. Disable the AppXSvc from the registry: change the "Start" key value from 3 to 4 (see the screenshot)

I suggest the following simple steps:

1. Set the autosave options in MS Office to a low value say 5 minutes.
2. Setup file history to autosave frequently - the shortest period is 5 mins
3. Install Macrium Reflect Free and configure it to do a daily incremental system backup

You should be well covered if you do the above to protect your key files.
