    Hello,I recently upgraded PC parts and since then have experienced a lot of crashes and BSODs. I have reinstalled Windows a few times, trying different solutions with drivers, have tried different frequencies with RAMs currently stock. I have 700GB space on the hard drive. -Windows 11-B650M Pro RS -32gb Ram G skill-RX7700XT 12gb-Ryzen 7 7700X -750W psuSince changing parts, I have experiencing the following errors, in respective gamesWindows BSOD: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATIONCS2: "pak01.vpk file is corrupt" sometimes also specific map.vpk files, e.g. nuke.vpk / anubis.vpkCyberpunk 2077: "This app

  2. BSOD when coming out of sleep, multiple error codes

    Thanks for the assistance, I've run all the necessary steps. It looks like there might be an issue found when running that first command. I have also installed all the driver updates recommended by the dell support check.

    You can find the logs of the command prompt window in the cmd.log file

  3. Multiple BSOD crashes with different error codes unable to detect the issue

    Hello,

    I have been experiencing multiple BSOD crashes that usually happened after a complete system freeze, sometimes the computer will generate a minidump file and a lot of the times it would remain on 0% progress when gathering information or a lot of the times it would only appear for a fraction of a second and force a system restart.

    I am using a dell alienware 17r4 laptop, with nvidia geforce 1080 and with windows 10.

    The different range of BSOD errors my computer threw at me are:

    • unexpected store exception
    • critical process died
    • system service exception
    • dpc watchdog violation
    • 0xc000021a
    I wasn't able to isolate what caused each type of crash. sometimes just while browsing the web, watching a movie or playing a pc game.

    here are the minidump files my computer generated

    The steps I took to try and find/solve the issue:

    • update BIOS
    • update drivers via windows update
    • uninstalled graphics driver with ddu tool and performed a clean installation of up to date drivers
    • chkdsk with no errors found
    • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    • sfc /scannow
    • updated ssd firmware
    I am at a loss for solutions and I am unable to understand if the issue stems from software or hardware errors (all hardware scans return no errors found messages)

    Win 10 - Multiple BSODs issues, running games.

    Ever since the Windows Anniversary update was released I started to experience crashes on games at launch and multiple BSOD errors.

    Errors found:


    • Crash to desktop
    • Application xxx.exe has been blocked from accessing graphical hardware
    • Screen black - mouse, audio and game still functioning
    • Screen freezes
    • "DirectX function "device->CreateTexture2D ..... failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
    • DirectX function "hr1" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

    BSOD errors:

    • MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    • SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    • SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    • PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    Computer Specifications:

    OS - Windows 10 64 Bit, Version 10.0.14393

    CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz, 4001 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

    GPU - Nvidia Geforce GTX 970, Driver 21.21.13.7633

    RAM - 16.0 GB

    Motherboard - ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming, Version 2003

    PSU - Corsair CX650M

    Storage

    SSD - Samsung SSD 850 EVO - 250GB

    HHD - WDC WD1003FZEX-00K3CA0 - 1TB

    Case

    Cooler Master - CM 690 III Mid Tower

    List of tests I've tried:

    • Ran FurMark Stress Test for an hour, no crashes.
    • Uninstalled graphics drivers with DDU, reinstalled latest drivers and old drivers, no changes.
    • Ran memory diagnostic tool
    • Updated motherboard bios to version 2003, I believe there is a newer version just recently released.
    • Ran sfc /scannow
    • Ran MemTest86
    • Reinstalled Windows 10
    • Disabled Xbox DVR
    • Tested adding TdrDelay, no help.
    • Reseated graphics card
    • Reseated RAM

    Included a system information file and driver view file to
    One Drive
    .

    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, been stuck with these issues for months now.
