Hey All,I have a custom-built machine that's been crashing lately with some newer games, throwing the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR code. I checked for dump files but found it's not creating them, and tried to force it to create them; however, no matter the settings I choose, it hangs at 0% when creating a dump file.System specs:Windows 10 ProAMD Ryzen 9 3950X not overclockedGigabye X570 Aorus Master latest BIOS version32 GB DDR4 RAM @ 1600MHz not overclockedSamsung SSD 850 EVO 1TBSamsung SSD 870 EVO 4TBSamsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TBAny thoughts on how I can investigate and resolve this issue?

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR on graphically intensive games

Hi.

I'm new here and I came across this forum while looking for a solution for this issue. My PC is crashing with a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR while playing heavy graphic games (FarCry 4, 5, New Dawn, Bright Memory, Metro Exodus). Nothing happens in any other instance.

I've been following some steps from this same forum.

So far:

Cleared CMOS
Set BIOS to default values
CPU, RAM and GPU reset to stock values (CPU was OCed to 4.8 1.25v, RAM was 3600 XMP and GPU is always stock)
30 minutes of Prime95 (Heavy), no errors, 75º max.
10 loops of memtest64, no errors.
Furmark 1080p, fullscreen, no AA: crashed after 8 minutes with fans in Auto (93% max). Set fans at 100% and passed 30 minutes.
(Testing) Playing with fans at 100%

Well, this is weird.

I have been playing Far Cry 5 for some hours, with fans at 100% and the game still crashed, but much less than usual. It seems to be a temp issue, but I'm pretty sure it's not.

 

Fun non graphic intensive game

I'm looking for a non graphic intensive game for my bros lappy to play. Since its a lappy its a bad idea to play shooting games (obviously). Any suggestions?
