Windows 10: Explorer crashing on right click

Explorer.exe keeps crashing when I right click in a window or on the desktop. This seemed to start happening randomly and not after a Windows update or anything in particular.I have tried the following:-Disabled antivirus-Disabled context menu's using ShellExView-Booting into safemode-Updating Windows-Reinstalling the graphics driver-sfcscan-DISM repair-Clear file explorer history-Disable credential Guard in regeditThe same problem continues to happen, even in safemode.Eventviewer displays the following when explorer crashes due to a right click:------------------------------------------------

It's a WIN 7 glitch, Registry problem. Could be caused by a lot of apps, especially AV/AS.

Download: ShellExView - Shell Extension Manager For Windows
NOTE: download version 1.97 or later, else Restart Explorer won't work in step 4

1. This program does not require installation, just right click and run as Administrator
2. From the menu, click on Options then click on Filter by Extension Type and select Context Menu. Also put check marks as shown
   
   
   
3. Click on the screen, Hold down CTRL Key+A to select all then click on the red button on top left corner to disable all.
4. Click on the Options again and select Restart Explorer
5. Now try to right click on desktop to see if it fixes your problem. If it does then start to enable one by one and repeat step 4 until the problem occurs again, that's the offending extension.

 

Windows Explorer Crash

Thank you for your reply. If the above steps did not work, let's try another workaround. You can try restarting your Windows Explorer from the Task Manager and see if it will resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Open Task Manager.
• Click the drop-down arrow beside More details.
• Under Processes tab, look for Windows Explorer from the list.
• Select Windows Explorer, right-click on it and select Restart.

After doing so, open Windows Explorer and see if it will crash again.
