Windows 10: Explorer.exe can't start Faulting module ntdll.dll

After logging in all I get is a blank screen. Explorer not running and trying to start it does nothing. Have to do all tasks using command line or from task manager. Cannot open control panel. Did a system restore. This fixed it for a day but it started again. Tried another restore this morning, that did nothing. Have scanned with malwarebytes, rkill and ESET removing 40 infected files. Tried making a new account, no joy. Reinstalled drivers and just finished re-install of win 10 with keep all apps and files. Searching the web has not helped. Log files attached.

explorer.exe keeps stopping or crashing - Windows 10

The first overview doesn't show any reports but I found something called reliability monitor under security and maintenance. Here there are some incidents of explorer.exe with the summary "stopped working".

Windows 10 exlorer.exe crashing from taskbar

I have several users who keep having a problem with Explorer.exe crashing from the taskbar. This is on Surfaces and Dell laptops. All pc's are running Windows 10.

Try uninstalling every app that creates an add-on to explorer. Sounds like an in-compatible app to me.
