Windows 10: Explorer.exe crashing - ntdll.dll

Hi!I recently updated my machine to Windows 11.Since then, I started observing a lot of explorer.exe crashes: it happens almost always when I hibernate/resume the hibernation works, but every time explorer crashes so I can't restore my open explorer windows - everything else is restored correctly, it happens when I change some settings from the Settings app for example, if I disable the automatic time/date detection, explorer.exe usually crashes.It also crashes 'a lot' of times after booting, but after some minutes it stabilizes.I got a lot of dumps from these crashes, but I'm no Windows d

Windows explore crash when searching

The tenforums link solved this issue for me.

The root cause is a Windows 10 bug where File Explorer crashes when long file names are included in a search result. The steps for the workaround are:

• Open File Explorer
• Click View > Options
• Open the View tab
• Check "Always show icons, never thumbnails"
• Click OK

 

kernel32.dll ntdll crash errors

Hey,

It has been a while I have this error while playing games. My game crashes after a few minutes of running smoothly and kernel32 and ntdll errors are reported.

I am running on a laptop acer aspire with windows 10 x64, intel core i7, 8Go SSD DDR4, nvidia GTX 1060M, 1 SSD with 128Go wontaining my C

and 1 Disk of 1To containing my D,E,F...

I have allready tried the following to fix the problem :

• Running regsvr32.exe /u ntdll.dll -> raises an error saying the module was loaded but the entry point is not found. Check if the DLL or OCX file is valid.
• Running repair tool from windows.
• Update all drivers manualy.
• Completly remove graphic card driver and reinstall it.
• Redumping my C: disk with a new windows.

I have followed most of the tutorials I found, nothing worked. I have had this issue with Rogue Company. I have had previous issues like this one though I can't tell for sure it was because of kernel32.

I would appreciate any help.

I have this error while playing games. My game crashes after a few minutes of running smoothly and kernel32 and ntdll errors are reported.

Bellow a exemple of a game error:

I am running with windows 10 x64, intel core i7-12700k, 16Go DDR4, nvidia RTX 3070. (Now I m on windows 11)
