Windows 10: explorer.exe got removed for no reason

I downloaded an application from the internet and it deleted explorer.exe from my computer, after a restart it shows a black screen and when im trying to run explorer.exe from Task Manager it says Windows cannot find 'explorer.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. Thank you in advance.

How can I remove this virus remnant?

I was also going to suggest Autoruns.

Check to make sure it isn't attaching itself to explorer. It should be the 3rd thing listed in Autoruns, the listing for the Shell. It should just be Explorer.exe. If it is anything else, that might be your problem.

 

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

It is possible that you .exe is not working due to corrupted system files or account. To assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

• Does this happen with a specific application or with all of your application?
• Have you tried creating a new admin account to check if the issue also with new account or only with the current account?
