    Explorer.exe in win 10 consumes 10% of CPU.


    as above my problem is that my Explorer uses way to much all the time.it prevents explorer to auto update changes. for ex. if i delete something or create a new folder. i cant se the change until i hit the reload button.the second problem is that i can't restartmy computer or turn it off at all.the pc will go the the restart/chuting downblue background and idles there until i force turn of the computer.i only have this problem on my account not the others on the same pc. and when i start without a network cable plugged in or wifi turned of everything is working again. with explorer acting as n

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    CEIP - rundll32.exe high CPU use in Win 10?


    This is a very first thing that I turn off after any Windows Installation (7/8/10).
    1. Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler
    2. Right click & disable 3 items as shown:
