    I WENT TO DEVICE MANAGER & SYSTEM FIRMWARE & WANTED TO UPDATE THE DRIVERS,WHEN I CLICK ON SEARCH FOR UPDATE DRIVERS IT IS SHOWING ME THIS MESSAGE!! MY PC IS NEW ONE BOUGHT 3DAYS BACK, WINDOWS10 64BIT!! HP RYZEN5 4600H!! PLEASE SOLVE IT

    I'm seeing this error

    Activation of app Microsoft.XboxApp_8wekyb3d8bbwe!Microsoft.XboxApp failed with error: This app does not support the contract specified or is not installed.

    the error occurs about every half hour

    yet the xbox app is working.

    anyone have a fix.

    these store app bugs are driving me nuts.

    Error: "Remote procedure call failed", "This app does not support the contract specified or is not installed" while trying to access Windows Store apps on Windows 10

    I've got a new Windows 10 64-bit Home edition computer recently. Whenever I start the Windows Store, it shows a blue window and disappear right after. I can see the following error in the event viewer log:

    Activation of app Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App failed with error: This app does not support the contract specified or is not installed. See the Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information.

    If I start other applications like Map, a similar blue window is shown and disappears after a while. Another error is shown in the event viewer log:

    Activation via contract helper of the app Microsoft.WindowsMaps_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App for the Windows.Launch contract failed with The remote procedure call failed..

    I have tried to fix these using the steps in the article. But the Windows Store still won't run.

    Can you advise how to fix?
