Windows 10: Explorer lags when I select multiple files for the first time.

Hello, I am facing this problem for the last month, every time I try to select multiple files in a folder explorer lags the first time I do it but after that, it is okay to reselect again without lagging.Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, BaseBoard PRIME Z490M-PLUS, ProcessorIntelR CoreTM i7-10700K CPU @ 3.80GHz, 3792 Mhz, 8 Cores, 16 Logical Processors, VGA card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER, Ram 32GB

Can't select multiple Microsoft files in File Explorer

I can't select multiple Microsoft files in File Explorer. I select a file and my whole computer lags / freezes. It does select eventually. I go to select while pressing shift and my whole computer freezes again and the action isn't completed. It's only Microsoft
files. I can select multiple folders and other types of files without any lagging. I just re downloaded Microsoft Office recently. Don't know if that's what caused this. I did try to delete any old Microsoft application files before re-downloading. This is
a recent issue, I downloaded Microsoft Office on a Monday and this became an issue on a Friday. I dont remember doing anything that could have caused this.

I don't know if this is connect but I got this error.



I followed the solution from here:Office error “could not create the work file” - Office. I dont
get the error anymore but I still cant select multiple MS files.

I've reset File Explorer and it's settings. Didn't work.

Delay when selecting file in Windows Explorer

Hey

when I select a file in Windows Explorer it takes a bit of time for the information on the bottom to update. So when I try to click multiple files in a row, the blue indication of what file is selected lags behind. I've only noticed this recently, so maybe
it has something to do with the KB4088776 update.

 

File Explorer Scroll Lag

Hello, I just did this and still the lagging continues. I want to point out that the lag occurs only when I scroll with the mouse, when I click and scroll the lag does not occur.
