Windows 10: Explorer not respoding on right click on any icon

    Explorer not respoding on right click on any icon


    Hello,

    When i right click on any icon on desktop, on any download or right click on any drive, it loads then it says Not respoding and restarts explorer.

    Any fix?

    Windows vista x64 computer icon always changing

    what icons are you referring to?
    In the Windows Explorer list or desktop?

    How to make vista display same icon size for all opened folders in explorer ?

    i dont think this answers the question , how do i make all icons in all folders appear "Large Icons" .

    Explorer not respoding on right click on any icon

    Cannot find Desktop Icon in File Explorer


    Now that is interesting. If I do what you suggest, File Explorer Address bar changes to C:\Users\username\documents and the missing ICONS are there. But there is still not a "Desktop" folder.

    Is this a step in the right direction?
