  1. Explorer Patcher and Win 11 Pro

I have been using Explorer Patcher on two computers for a long time- A Dell XPS-8940 Desktop and an MSI GS76 Stealth Laptop. Both have Intel i 11th Gen CPUs and Run the latest version of Windows 11 Pro with all updates installed. The only difference between them is the amount of RAM- 64 GB vs. 32 GB. I have found the program to restore a lot of functionality that Windows 11 removed.Because of a problem that could not be solved any other way I had to reset the MSI back to its original factory state with Windows 10 home, then upgrade to Windows 11 Home and then Windows 11 Pro.In the process of

    Explorer patcher crashing windows explorer

I had translucenttb downloaded, then I wanted to place my taskbar on top of the screen, so I searched and first recommendation was explorer patcher. I downloaded that and the moment I opened it the taskbar started crashing because of the file explorer restarting over and over again without taking a moment.

I tried starting in safe mode with command prompt I opened startup apps and it wasn't there, then I tried normal stratup and opened task mnaager through the shortcut ctrl+alt+del and stopped the tasks with the file explorer icon, there were two of them one named explorer and the other windows files or windows explorer, they were restarting frequently every second. When I ended those tasks the taskbar and desktop weren't there, everything was blank as surely i stopped file explorer, and then tried to find explorer patcher but it wasn't there. I clicked on run new task and Opened control panel to delete explorer patcher but it wasn't there, translucenttb wasn't there too. I disabled translucenttb startup, and restarted but the problem was still there. I clicked on run new task > browse, and searched for explorer patcher and deleted all it's related files but still the problem was happening, even in safe mode it was happening faster (the taskbar and desktop restarting too fast).

Is the only solution a reset with keeping all my files? I really don't want to lose all the apps and anything. So please guide me.

Explorer Patcher and Win 11 Pro

    IE 11 in Win 10 pro non-responsive

I just resolved issue with IE 11 in Windows 10 pro x64 bit 1709 buildDell e6430 16GB RAM I-7 processorWhile all other browsers were running without issues IE 11 was not responding. Since it would immediately crash after launch I was not able to get to tools tab and do any setting changes. Have tried various options from forums suggestions but non worked. Finally I gave a shot to last option I could come up with that would not involve resetting OS (IE 11 is part of Win 10 OS).1. Open control panel from search bar2. Go to Programs and open Turn Windows features on or off3. Uncheck Internet Explorer 114. Disregard warning and click YES5. Reboot computer6. Repeat steps 1 and 2 and check Internet Explorer 11 box.7. Disregard warning if comes up and click YES8. Reboot machine 9. Open internet explorer Internet explorer was functioning for me and I was able to go tools tab and disable add-ons During the reset I disable temporary Symantec Endpoint enterprise security software, just in case) but I don't think that was necessary. If these steps solved your problem please check box with YES.
    Thank you and good luck
