    How to remove the ribbon and command bar in Windows 10

    I've tried removing the ribbon bar according to this guide, using Winaero's Remove Ribbon tool. Instead of just removing it, it replaces the ribbon with the command bar, containing tools that I either have no use for or that I can access by right clicking inside the folder. Google gives me no answers so I come to you.

    How can I remove the ribbon in Windows 10 without replacing it with the command bar, or anything else for that matter?

    File explorer ribbon missing

    Right click above the Address bar and UNcheck minimize the ribbon? OR... are you looking for the File, Computer, View buttons?

    Hi there
    I was trying to search for a program that's able to customise the Ribbon or the command bar since I feel the Ribbon is too bulky, it takes up too much space. But after enabling the command bar with oldnewexplorer, you have to click 'Organise' to do simple tasks, also to show/hide hidden files you have to go to Tools -> Folder Options. I remember seeing a program that's able to put shortcuts on the command bar but now I'm unable to find it.
