Windows 10: Explorer window flickering when I move the mouse / type

This issue is really making me insane.... when draging the mouse around and when typeing... all kinds of the tabs and icons on the taskbar flicker and flash... words and excel documents on my other monitor will have lines that flicker also... and it is making me want to rage quit.What does it take to NOT have random strobing when I move my mouse or type.. I have never seen this before the past couple of weeks

To address the flickering, we suggest that you rollback the driver of your mouse, you may follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R on the desktop screen.
• Type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
• Expand the category you want and right click on the driver and select properties.
• Navigate to driver tab and click on RollBack driver.

File explorer flickering


Not sure how to explain this.

When in Windows explorer I'll be looking at a list of files in the"details" listing method. When i run my mouse up and down the list of files the type in the file names flickers or jumps around if you will.

No idea why. I shot a short video from my phone

I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.

  Press Windows key + R
  
• 
  Type msconfig
  
• 
  In msconfig > Boot tab >
  Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.
