Windows 10: Exploring on how to change tile color in 20H2

I ended up with identical releases of Windows 10 Pro on the desktop and Home on the laptop.

Using Windows Club's "Windows Tile Color Changer for Windows 8.1", on the desktop, I managed to change a tile color, which showed up after a reboot. On additional attempt, I changed one more tile and then, with a few exceptions, every tile background changed to the taskbar color as in 2004.,

So far, any attempt to repeat the same on the laptop failed, although, I rebooted twice and rebuilt the icons, just in case.

Where in the desktop registry would I find where the changes occurred and compare to the same keys in the laptop?

20H2 Start Menu App Tiles Background Color

So after updating to 20H2 the default color of app tiles in the Start Menu changed. Previously, things looked like the Theme settings preview (see first image). Now, however, App Tiles are just Dark Gray on a Black background.

I know that it is possible to have different color backgrounds for app tiles. If I have to go somewhere and edit something, that's fine but if there's some setting I'm missing that's better.

Are you at Windows 10 20H2? press Windows Key + R and type winver Since 20H2 Microsoft has removed the system accent color behind tiles. This is called "Theme Aware Tiles" in Start. Changing the individual colors of the tiles is no longer possible.

Ok so something with the tiles did change in 20H2. I don't necessarily care about individual tiles I just want the default color to be different.
