Windows 10: Exported Video Editor files don't work

Hi! I used the video editor app to create a video about an hour and a half long, but every time that I click the 'finish video' button to export, it gets about ¼ of the way through exporting, then the screen goes black for a few minutes, and the file is apparently done exporting, but as you can see from the photo, there's nothing in it. I've exported this file about 10 times now and the result is basically the same every time, and I cannot access my video outside of the app. Whats wrong with it and how can I fix the issue? Video Editor Export

Thank you for your feedback.

When using the video editor app, go to the upper right hand part of the window and click on "Finish Video", then click on Export to save it on your desired folder or location.

Once the export has been completed, it should automatically save as an .MP4 file.

You may verify it by doing a right click on the video and selecting properties. The type of file should be "MP4 File (.mp4)".

Microsoft Video Editor Not Exporting

I have been trying to make a video using Microsoft Video Editor through Photos. The app itself worked fine. I made the video (about 6 minutes long) exactly the way I wanted to and it looks about as good as I want it to. But when I go to export it, it won't
export. I get the pop-up that has me choose video quality, and I choose it. But after I pick the file location and click "export", the pop-up that says "exporting" never changes. No progress is made in exporting the video. I can find a file that was supposed
to be the video with the title of the video, but it says that the file cannot be opened.

Any help at all would be awesome.

I suggest you to try with resetting Video Editor:

1. Press WINDOWS + I

2. Click on "App"

3. Digit "Video Editor" in the search bar on the right

4. Click on "Video Editor"

5. Click on "Advanced Option"

6. Scroll down to "Reset"

7. Click on "Reset"

Then retry creating the video and export It.
