  1. EXTENDED SCREEN ISSUES

I have a Samsung Galaxybook flex 2 which I have connected via hdmi to my samsung UHD monitor. When I simply mirror the display or display screen 2, it does not fill the whole of the screen. When I chose to extend the screens, it fills the screen but I lose the icons/shortcuts on the second screen. This is made worse by the fact that when I try to open programs this happens on the main laptop screen but not the 2nd? Have trued both hdmi and usbc connections but the same happens. Can someone help me.

    :)
