Windows 10: External 56K FAX Modem not working on Windows 11

Discus and support External 56K FAX Modem not working on Windows 11 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Tried 2 different modems that worked fine on Windows 10 Hiro V.92, USR 5639.     External 56K FAX Modem not working on Windows 11


    Tried 2 different modems that worked fine on Windows 10 Hiro V.92, USR 5639. Tried updating drivers for both, also tried reloading my caller ID/telemarketer zapper software VZ56K to no avail. The software when running shows the caller ID info, but it appears the modem is not getting the disconnect command from the software to hang up on specified callers. I also looked for new drivers on Windows Update and only found one for the Hiro modem. When I installed that, the program would no longer show the caller ID info.

    SupraExpress 56K USB modem stopped working in upgrade from 8.1 to 10 windows

    I upgraded from Windows 8.1.

    My modem, SupraExpress 56K USB (SUP2780) no longer works.

    It was using a driver in Windows 8.1 from Microsoft.

    In windows 10 it is identified in the Device manager as Diamond SupraExpress 56k v.90 and has

    device status of "This device cannot start (Code 10.)".

    I have tried the Troubleshooting for devices in Windows 10 to no avail.

    I have looked for a driver on the web and can only find one from 2000 and on sights that I do not necessarily trust.

    Does anyone have a suggestion.

    56k soft modem comaptability with windows 10

    I have an hp notebook with windows 10 0S. I am attempting to set up dial up with my aol account using a US Robotics 56K USB soft modem. Is a soft modem compatible with widows 10?

    USB Modem not working in windows 10

    I upgraded from Windows 7 professional to Windows 10 and the Windows Fax and Scan is like new, did not carry over the list of sent faxes from before. But the problem is that the modem is not recognized. I have a plug in 56K Modem from Dell and it was set
    up and working great.

    Where could I find the modem listed. I couldn't see it on the Device list.
