Windows 10: external camera doesn't work on web, it works fine on the camera app

Discus and support external camera doesn't work on web, it works fine on the camera app in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I cannot use my external camera on Chrome, yesterday I contacted support and she made me reset Windows but it didn't work at all, everything is updated...     I cannot use my external camera on Chrome, yesterday I contacted support and she made me reset Windows but it didn't work at all, everything is updated and the camera still doesn't work. This issue occurred about 2 weeks ago until then my external camera was working fine. I updated the driver many times, what am I supposed to do?

    Hi Guys!!! I have a Problem with Nokia N8, the camera doesn´t work, I can open the camera software and runs fine, but does not display picture (black screen), it doesn´t displays imagen in video rec mode too, if I select second camera it works well. I've
    seen that Carl Zeiss camera lens does not open when I take a picture or rec video, can this be a problem in the firmware?

    I bought Nokia N8 two weeks ago, and I didn´t do any test of camera until today, My big mistake!!! :smileymad:

    Web Camera is not working

    Hello

    I assume by your comment "black screen appears in video call", you are experiencing problems in other camera apps as well, possibly Skype. If your camera isn't working in any applications this is indicative of a camera driver issue. Please try the steps
    listed here to resolve your issue:

    If your issue isn't resolved after running the steps, please report back with your camera make and model and the driver information you aquire from step 3.

    Camera not working with Skype

    Hi All
    Lenovo ideapad 305 Windows 10 home 64 bit. All updates
    Last worked with Skype and Zoom back around June now does not work
    Camera can be seen working on Lenovo Vantage settings
    but skype just shows black screen
    Skype works with external USB camera
    PC Settings shows camera is on, apps can access camera, skype has access, desktop app web view has access
    Camera drivers are up to date. Camera does NOT appear in device manager
    Skype is latest version.

    Any clues as to what might be wrong?
