Windows 10: External drive 4-bay docking station causing keyboard issues when data transferring

Hi I've been having some issues with my keyboard that, through my own troubleshooting, have determined that my 4-bay HDD docking station connected via USB is most definitely the culprit.My keyboard behaves strangely, keys repeating and freezing at random, but only when a drive from my 4-bay docking station is writing. The device has a ASM235CM chipset. I have tried disabling selective suspend, that did not work. The issue persists even if only one drive is connected to the docking station.It is also NOT the keyboard's fault, I have tested with other keyboards and the problem is the same.This

I removed the hard drive from old computer because in no longer turns on. I'm using an external docking station. once I insert the hard drive into the docking station and the computer recognizes it how do I transfer data

You transfer data from one drive to another in the same way, regardless of whether the drive is internal or external or connected to a docking station. It's also the same as transferring from one folder to another on a single drive.

You can do it in several different ways, but the two most common are copy and paste and drag and drop. If you don't know how to do those, please tell us that and we can provide details.

Thank for your help. As I was going through the device manager and going to drives, determined I needed to initialize the drive. Which makes sense after you find the right place to do it. A simple 4 - 5 step instructions from the manufacturer would be
helpful, but it is probably on the drive that couldn't be read until I did the 5 steps.
