Windows 10: External Drives

HiI have new Hp Firefly G8, when I connect a USB Drive or an external drive it says 'Setting Up Device' but will not autoplay or show the drives in explorer or Disk Management. In Other Devices is says 'Driver is Unavailable. Drive letters are assigned and devices work in 2 other new G8's. Mice, keyboards, and a USB-C dock work OK.I have run Windows online troubleshooter which enabled automatic driver downloads in Windows Update but this did nothing and now won't run again.All ports are enabled and working other than not opening external drives in explorer.Is there anything else I could try b

• Just to confirm, the device that is not working properly is a external DVD optical drive?
• Were there any recent changes or updates installed on your computer?
• Have you tried to plug the external drive to a different port on your computer?

External Hard Drive

• Open your External Hard Drive file in File Explorer.
• Type the name of the file you want to search on the search box and click Enter.

The file will show up in Search Results and you will be able to move it to the correct folder.
