Seagate external hard drive not showing disc information! How do I get it to show how much disc space is left? Below the drive just like Windows c:drive showing the information below it?

After Installing windows 10 anniversary update External Hard Disc not opening. Hard disk is showing as RAW format. But when I connect my Hard Disc to my friend laptop running Windows 10 earlier build its working fine. My hard disc is WD My Passport Ultra
2 TB. Is there any solution available to fix the issue other that backing up my HD content and formatting it ?

i have windows 10 , i have formatted local disc E by mistake then i used a program called (unformat) to get it back but unfortunately many folders have been lost , is there any solution to get the disc back before last format ( i didn't make a restore
point to it ) ??

finally i advise microsoft to distinguish between shape of local disc and external hard or flash memory on this PC because i formatted disc E instead of formatting a flash memory . Thank you
