Discus and support external hard drive folders into onedrive for online use. in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have many GBs of photos on an external Hard drive.     I have many GBs of photos on an external Hard drive. I want them in Onedrive. I cannot simply copy via file explorer as I don't have enough room on my computers C drive to do this location of my Onedrive folder . is there anyway to do this operation short of using the "view online" link through the Onedrive app on my windows computer and simply copying from the external hard drive into the pictures folder of Onedrive which is now open in a browser window via the app? and if I do it this way, I am making a copy of those files correct? they would stay in Onedrive whether ext HD is connected to my computer or not. and if i made changes to either the Ext HD or the files in the Onedrive folder they would be independent of each other in the opposite location. i.e. deleting a file from ext HD later would not delete it from Onedrive?

    Hi John,

    We suggest that you try the troubleshooting steps below:

    • Open your External Hard Drive file in File Explorer.
    • Type the name of the file you want to search on the search box and click Enter.
    The file will show up in Search Results and you will be able to move it to the correct folder.

    To address your concern, here are the troubleshooting steps that you can try. Follow the steps below:

    Uninstall and reinstall the external hard drive program.

    • In the Settings app, go to System.
    • Go to Apps & features and locate the external hard drive program.
    • Uninstall the program and go to the manufacturer's website to reinstall the updated version.
    Uninstall and reinstall the Paragon driver software.

    • Following the same steps mentioned above, locate the software in Apps & features
      and uninstall it.
    • After uninstalling the software, go to the manufacturer's website to reinstall it.
    To further isolate your concern, we'd also like to verify if the OneDrive app is enabled on your PC.

    Syncing Folders from pc and an external hard drive to onedrive business

    My PC contains 3 folders that backup to one drive - lets say they are on drive C on the pc.

    Because I have no more storage available on the pc I use an external drive to hold photos and videos etc - lets say that the external hard drive is drive E.

    I cannot place the files on E into the onedrive backup folder on the PC as there is no space.

    Question can I have Onedrive look for two backup folders in seperate drives eg How do I backup Drive E as well as the already backed up Drive C. I cannot move the files from E to C as there is no space and I do not want to move the files currently on my
    pc on to the external hard drive?
