Windows 10: External keyboard and mouse is not recognized by a USB port but the USB port recognizes a...

So I have this legion 5 pro laptop and as what the title says, one of the usb port at the back is not recognizing my external keyboard or mouse.It started around January and got it fixed by then. Lenovo replaced the motherboard which fixed the problem. They think it was bad port.Now, its back and I'm not sure why. It is basically the same problem as the one in January. The port would not recognize my keyboard or my mouse but it can recognize and transfer files from a flash drive or an external HDD. Other ports do not have a problem with the external keyboard and mouse.I should also note that

Windows 10, all updates. Windows stopped recognizing all keyboards or mice via USB ports. All USB port verified to work using other devices. Keyboard and mouse verified to work using other computers. I tried to install mouse device drivers but the system
will not accept the updates.

 

USB port only recognizes external hard drive.

One of my usb ports only recognizes 1 external hard drive. The hard drive is powered by the usb port and works in every other port. The usb port fails to recognize any other device I plug in (The last USB device you connect malfunctioned). The port does
however still charge devices. I have attempted every fix: reloading drivers, formatting and reinstalling windows, re flashing my bios, etc. This problem originally started upon trying to update windows with the external drive.

today my windows 10 stopped recognizing external usb attachment thumb drives. My usb connected keyboard and printer are fine. No usb ports show up in my listings
