Windows 10: External Mic with Phone

Have Your Phone 1.20101.99.0, with Samsung G930 and a BLUE mic.

Phone is connected to Win10 PC with Bluetooth. How can I use Bluemic with phone dialer on computer?


Microphone Apps in Setting does not list the YourPhone App to allow microphone.

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

 

Windows Phone Camera App: Recording Video with headset microphone instead of internal mic

The phone only uses the built-in mic when recording videos on the Camera app. If you want to use an external mic when recording videos, it is best that you send this suggestion through Feedback Hub so our developers can work on it. To send a feedback on
your phone, you can follow the steps below:

1. Go to All apps, search for the Feedback
   Hub app.
2. Open the Menu icon at the top left side.
3. Select Feedback, then tap the Add button
   (+) at the top right side.
4. Select Suggestion and provide the details needed in the box.
   
5. Select the right category and then submit.

Using external mic on the N95

I've just bought an N95 and have been trying to connect an external (Shure) mic with a 3.5mm connection. When I insert it it is detected by the phone, but the only three options are Headphones, TV Out and Music Stand. Whichever I select the phone reverts
to using the internal mic.

I'd like to use it to record sessions with my band, and don't see why this shouldn't be possible - anyone got any suggestions??
