Windows 10: External monitor keeps losing signal when playing any video site except for Youtube

I have a lenovo thinkpad running on Windows 10 and an Acer monitor plugged in using HDMI. Whenever I try to open any video site besides Youtube and it can be playing on my laptop screen, doesn't have to be on the monitor the monitor goes black, says there's no signal and goes into standby mode. Turning it back on doesn't help it just keeps saying no signal; it doesn't come back unless I plug it out/switch it off, close the offending site and plug it in again. It works on youtube without losing signal but have tried it on Netflix both the app and just the website and the disney plus site an

recently my external monitor loses signal from surface book 2 on and off, I have the same problem in my office on desktop also, what is going on with windows?

 

External monitor keeps loosing signal when video is played

I really hope someone can tell me how to fix this. I have an HP laptop running Windows 10 and an Acer KG271 monitor. I started out using the Acer as the monitor with the laptop closed. This works fine,
but if I go on a website like Netflix or AT&T TV Now, any video site except YouTube, the monitor stops receiving a signal and starts scanning all the inputs. I have to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in and it works until I make ANY change. Then it
shuts down again. It's not just this laptop either, it's any laptop. I've also tried extending the display so both are on and duplicating the display. It happens the same way. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

PC loses signal to monitor


While I play a video game, FPS in game start dropping and the monitor loses signal, but the PC is still working. Today I tried the thingy with Capslock and after I pressed it two times, my PC stopped. After I turned it back on it booted, but a black screen appeared and not the logo and after that it rebooted itself and now it's working. I can't play video games at all anymore.

My CPU is i5-3450 3.10 and graphic card GTX 650.

I had this problem even on previous version of windows.

I can watch movies and videos on chrome fine, but when I play games the hell unleashes.

Please help me *Sad.
