  1. External monitor screen not fully expanded

I have just installed my new laptop 15 inch which is running Windows 11. It is connected via an HDMI cable to an external monitor. This is the same set up that I used for my old 7 inch Windows 10 laptop however in the case of this set up the display on the external monitor was full size whereas the same monitor is only displaying the screen in the same size as the laptop. How can I get the external display to utilise the full screen?

    :)
