Windows 10: External Speaker sounds like Telephone / Bad quality - Windows 11

I have a UE Boom Speaker that suddenly started sounding like a telephone. I tried:1. Troubleshooter2. Removing all sound drivers and rebooting3. Removing all bluetooth and rebooting4. Disabling enhancements for ALL audio devices. Nothing worked. Finally, FIXED. Went into device manager - Sound, Video and Games and saw that the speaker had a "hands-free" driver. Right clicked that and disabled. Speaker works.

Bad sound quality Windows 10 and 11

Hi

So I have a stealth 700 Xbox Bluetooth headset that works great on windows 10 when on speaker mode, but the sound quality is horrible on the other. Why does it do this? Is there a way to fix it?

Also, for some reason, after upgrading my windows 10 to 11, my sound quality on my headset in speaker mode (which was working wonderfully in windows 10) has gone horrible and the quality is terrible as if it's muffled and quiet. How do I fix this please I have no other headset and it works completely fine on windows 10 speaker mode?

 

Sound Quality

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.

 

mp3 quality to match 5300 speaker quality

anyone here can suggest what is the most perfect mp3 quality

for 5300 external speaker? is it 128kbps,or 64kbps?...

i found that using 64kbps help me save the space on the memory card but not sure the sound quality..

somebody help..
