Windows 10: External Speakers Not Functioning Properly

External, standalone not computer speakers do nothing but make a monotonous, clicking sound, over and over, but a female voice says "Music," when speakers are connected. Doesn't the fact that I hear SOME sound mean that they're NOT blown? I've tried every troubleshooting process that I can find, on the web, to no avail. HELP!!!Many thanks, Lance

Left speaker not functioning properly.

I had visited Nokia Care Center five times, at the very first time left speaker was not functioning properly, they changed the speaker but phone was not packed properly. Today I facing speaker problem again as well as phone packing is loose.



Please suggest me whom to approach now because I am totally fed up of service provided by Nokia Care Center.

Windows 10 may have encountered a driver conflict that caused this issue since you've already tried the function keys + F9 to F11. For us to help you with this, kindly answer the following questions:

• Have you made any recent changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• What is the current build and version of your Windows 10? To check type in
  winver on the search bar and press Enter.
• What is the model number of your Toshiba laptop?
• Are you using a built in speaker or an external speaker?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you update your audio driver by following the steps on this

link. We also recommend that you uninstall and reinstall your audio driver if it is already up to date.

Speakers and headphones work at the same time

• Have you tried connecting your headphones directly to your desktop?
• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

You may try the following steps to help resolve your concern:

• Unplug or Disconnect your speaker from the desktop.
• Connect your headphone directly to the desktop.

If the headphone works properly when directly connected to the desktop, we suggest that you contact your speaker manufacturer for assistance.
